This piece gives a strong visual impact with the stark white background and the use of warm tones to form the image upon the white. The drip is very well done, the lines only adding to the piece's impact.

the leaves of the plants are beautifully done, with flowing elegance. The cool tonal shading brings out the values of the image extremely well. The usage of the background for the light is extremely clever and gives a luminescent quality to the piece. Technique is remarkable and realistic, allowing for a well rendered piece. Overall, the impact is wonderful and impressive.
