What can i say about this work....The colors are amazing and stunning, and the violet splash looks like a flower(iris)...The structure that accompanies the colors are extraordinary detailed (i use full zoom on them and are still great)...and The portrait its tooo real, too floating like hes made of glass and then is left in a cold/icy water. Whole work its a great piece of art that represents the real innocence, pure without being affected by all the impurities that surrounds us and try to make us false like them.By the way i forget the lines of water which flow so easy and make the composition to be united.
A well balanced image, the darker but subtle image of the flower at the bottom, offsets and compliments the lighter colours used in the more obvious face and head. The use of the lighter pink and blue pigments over the flower also make it pop nicely, and the "stem" leading to the head (although the tendrils are dripping down) lead the eye back up to the face, giving the eye the chance to move naturally around the image, and pick up all the wonderful little details it may have misses the first 30 times. All in all a beautiful organic piece from an amazing artist. My only negative comment would be that the image isn't viewed well on a screen and much of the detail is missed. This is a Piece to be seen up close and personal.
