This is really beautiful and interesting. Do you end up erasing much before you paint? I always wonder how you are supposed to map things out.

Yeah it's an uphill struggle this one.. don't have the ability to correct areas so it is heading downhill which is a shame because it had so much energy to start with - you in the studio today?

Oh no, that is a shame - I never believe a painting is done for though, maybe leave it and return with renewed energy. Can you go over any of it with dark lines, or maybe white ink, take parts back a bit to start over? Yep I've been in the studio today, got quite a lot done, more to this painting, started a new one, and put paint on 3 new canvases, but it's been a tough 'head' day if that makes sense, not a pleasant, satisfying day, but an anxious, doubtful vibe day, feel quite drained now. But I'll see if the work is any good when I go in tomorrow. Gawd, the ups and downs eh!!
