amazing! I tried to use tea but didn't work for me ehhh...Instead I used balsamic vinegar, which is also fun to work with! You are such an inspiration!

This is genius, I have used the [for lack of a better word] dripping technique, and splatter, but separate from each other, and never with a detailed, beautiful picture to enhance it and back it up. Your are great.

Your work is dope. What is it you use. Where or what book can I learn what you do? I'd like to start mix media. I like color ink and want to add everything from there..when I get the hang of it.

Thanks - I use ink and tea... a book? I could name 100's but study the artists you admire and look at the roots of their work and then at their influences, this is always a good way to find new material and techniques but finding a style that suits your work is key - for example - I love people's work that handles vibrant bold colour, and people with a painterly technique - but it ain't for me. Good luck and keep painting /drawing / doing what you do ;)

I saw ur earlier explanation, I feel that if she was envious of the birds she should look up towards the sky instead of the down at the ground, Otherwise
this picture is like perfect, It took me a while to figure out what it was

envy isn't a positive emotion though - if she looked upwards I would feel like it conveyed a positive meaning. She will never be a bird...

I like you artwork but did not particularly like this piece. Firstly some technical comments. The sort of leafy things coming from the head (or is that an arm), has nice detail and texture. The hair is very nicely done, the flow of how the hair flows through the picture. Also I feel there is some balancing issues of the whole image, where there is too much going on at the bottom of the picture where as the top is empty. Lastly, there is a blueish/green streak running along the armm some purple splashes at the bottom right, and a splash of lighter purple runing along the waist of the subject.. This too seems inconsistent and so hurts the flow of the picture a bit.

As for interpretation of it, I do not think it conveys envy to me. Conveys more of sporadic movement and thought, and perhaps shame or guilt washing down the body of the woman. Also, I do not understand what the beak signifies.

Perhaps some explanation would not go amiss to go with your artwork. Some might argue good artwork is self explanatory or open to the individual's interpretation, but I believe if you provide some explanation of what you mean perhaps it would enable me to better appreciate your work. Anyways, still good stuff.

That's great thanks.. she wears a beaked mask, like a bird.. with torn feathers around her arm - it is an envy of flight and she mimics . I don't like this piece much - but I don't want to get into a habbit of posting just the stuff I like, originally my idea was to have a broken necked bird on the floor in the mid ground baclancing the composition with birds in flight top right but I do not see the piece being completed. It is too dark and not really where I want my work to go... it doesn't have any floral elements and I normally use these as symbolic elements within the work. I suppose it is unfinished - but since I have stopped working on it - I'm going to call it finished!. Time to move on - thanks very much for your criticism, it helped me to understand why this piece is unsuccessful too!

that description certainly clarifies what you were trying to do. And yes, sometimes things just don't turn out right. keep up the good work though. your style is certainly unique.

Such a beautiful piece. I really love how the colors turned out and the way they just run down the painting. You can see some many things in this it's hard not to keep staring at it. A bird, a person, though I'm not sure if it's a woman or a man. Falling feather, I even see flowers in there.:3 Such detail and visual splendor. Wonderful work on this.:D
