As I have observed many of your works previous to this, the choice to use a black background feels refreshing and new.
Your choice of color palette works nicely as it feels metallic in some areas and almost neon in others.
As for your choice of medium and methods, respect is given for your ability to show both fluid expressive movement but at the same time other areas flaunt precise planned strokes.
A key feature I love about this piece is how by through close inspection some areas almost create their own new visual. For example the orange circular shape to the right side of the eyes reminded me of a setting sun as it drops behind a shadowed hill. Similarly the purple and blue splatter at the top of the composition was likened to a spacial anomaly.
Originality and impact were the ratings that I criticized the most. Primarily due to the fact that this piece differs little from prior work and as such left me feeling that impact was no greater than other work. However I do admit that if I had no knowledge of your portfolio these ratings may have increased.
There is a control to your work that is complimented by the movement of the finished pieces. Taken as a whole, this feels complete and yet open. Closer inspection reveals all the precise line work and attention that goes into all of your work. The contrast of the precision and detail with the fluid movement of the piece makes for an amazing experience!
