Sometimes you just have to abandon all the figurative elements and just enjoy the act of drawing, this series explores the journey taken

Wow. One word to sum up this piece.
It's really busy, giving the eye lots to take in and look at, but at the same time the colour use works really well so that it does not strain your eyes. The colours aren't bright, but at the same time manage to stay interesting and pleasing.
I really enjoyed looking at this piece and making up shapes and objects that my imagination molded from the work. I can see feathers and flowers and various other things. I don't know if this was the initial idea, but it gave me something more out of the work and I see something different every time I look at it.

i think this is an absolutely amazing piece and it shows impeccable technique and shows just how much patience you have. not only have you masterfully blended the paints but you have made the most contrasting colours work perfectly. you have also been able to present different texture which really add an extra layer to this painting.
the best thing about this is that as random as it seems you have shown such perfect control over the pain you were able to mix each colour without making it seem like a big blob. another thing i love is that you can look at it as a whole painting or as separate little masterpieces...regardless this is truly beautiful

Nice, reminds me of Gorky and Kandinsky all rolled up into one...

glimmer starlight on the path
on the edge where mist now dwells
patterns dance, to the unspoken
dreams set free on translucent wings
