At first glance, this painting is very beautiful and harmonious. The shapes and the colors look marvelous together and it wasn't easy to do so. The contrast between the geometric and the flowing drops is interesting. We could think that too many effect (shapes and drops) could overload the drawing but not here. The layout and colors are so well arranged that the painting is a total success. The technique is important to get that result. A great mastery of colors and shapes that despite the apparent aggressiveness of the drawing inspire me sweetness and lightness. Moreover the face seems to be very calm and quiet which contrasts with the movement created by the drippings. The contrasts are maybe what makes this painting so impactful. And the quality of the realisation makes it magnificient! (English is not my mother tongue ! )

I have a competition called the art of ink, would you like to join? Its my first set up competition so its just for fun this time. But I do feature art as that is actually the only thing I can do next to giving llamas derp.
