'Tread Carefully' from the studio 1st work in oil

What a journey this has been, using a new medium and trying to translate some of my techniques from water based translucent media to oil paint has been a massive challenge - the work has headed in a different direction but the speed of painting and contemplation involved in this work is a refreshing change to the fast pace of works on paper with inks and tea and alcohols etc!  The piece will kickstart a new series of work called encounters, I hope you will follow this journey.  I'm excited to start the new series... thanks for following and please feel free to critique as advice and guidance is always welcome. - Carne
