Exquisite.

This work is a perfect example of how mixed media could be used. It's clear that you have good understanding of the human anatomy and use this advantage to 'trick' your audience into believing they're seeing more than they are by using the suggestive pencil lines.

The work is also nicely centred. The centre of this work is very busy, very impact-full. It shows a lot of motion but is contrasted by the use of soft colours in the background in combination with the lovely skin tone that again works very suggestively.

This work also really embodies what you're trying to bring across. I feel as if the person who is in this work doesn't want to be forgotten, but is slowly fading away. What feature of any human do we recognize so we won't forget them? The face. The face is the most detailed part of your work but it is rough, sketchy, making it so that even though you've seen people's faces, you can still easily forget how they looked like.

Everything else is suggestive. It's one of those works that lures out reaction from its audience. What could those pencil lines mean? Is it a coat? Is he posing for a picture or painting? What's that on his head? Is it a hat? This all works in combination with the image you've brought across. What does it mean to be forgotten? What does it take to be remembered?

The colours in the background you've used suggest to me that the man in this picture (or woman?) is clouded. Being put in this position, the clouds could easily consume you and you would be nothing more but a forgotten soul once more.

Although I would give you a 5/5, the whole idea of 'forgotten' has been done a lot and it could be seen as cliché in a way. However, the way you've handled this subject shows me that you are a brilliant and creative artist.
